The interview started off with introductions. He was very chill and made the whole thing feel easy and like a conversation. He then asked the basic things he needed to, such as flight times in the last 30/60/90 days and 12 months. Then asked if I was willing to be on reserve and fly my assigned schedule. After those "gotta ask" questions we moved into HR. He asked "why did you choose SkyWest" and "Tell me a about time when you felt uncomfortable in an airplane." He asked what would be some of the biggest differences or changes at SkyWest compared to my current job. We then moved into the technical portion. He asked about "descend via the STAR" clearances and how to comply. He asked about holding speeds and speed limits in class E under the Bravo and...

Interview began really relaxed and had soft ball questions. Just to get you warmed up; Tell me about yourself, why Skywest?, etc. Transitioned right into the Technical from there. Moved on to my aircraft questions. Moved on to weather. METAR AND TAF, know everything! They weren’t long but just some tricky stuff. Moved on to the sim flight portion. Plan flight from KMSP to KDEN. Interviewee was Captian and Interviewer was FO. Who would we be talking to pushing back on... -

Really relaxed interview. Interviewer talked a lot-more of a conversation overall. Went through intros and jumped into high altitude aerodynamics. Definitely study swept wings, critical Mach, Mach tuck etc. went into systems-jet engines and electrical. Just know them well enough to explain-you don’t need to be an expert. Then he went into situational questions-using things he taught me during. Time threats, shared mental models, etc. overall-use this website to study and you’ll... -

Interview was just like the rest. FO on the ERJ. Started with introducing ourselves and going over the 30/60/90/365 hours. Jumped right into it after. Documents needed to fly ORD LGA. (ARROW +.Passport and FCC License with the potential of going into Canada). NWKRAFT/91.103. Went into Turbofans and how they work. Bypass air, what works off of it. Bleed air, what works off of it. Be sure to review the simulator scenario section on this website. Interviewer made a relaxed environment. Very... -

Very much as expected from others. I had a Teams interview with an FO, very laid back guy. Went over hours, 30/60/90/365, accidents/incidents/failures. Asked a few "what would you do" questions, possibly drunk crew member (wanted to see that you'd stand up to them, but also evaluate them, instead of smelling alcohol and assuming their drunk). What documents (ARROW), went over the hydraulic braking system in a C172. Asked when do you have to stop at an ILS critical area at an... -

Begin with intros, mine was with a captain of the ERJ. Talked about hours and when I would be ready to go for R-ATP. He was a super nice guy, and we had a brief discussion about his background and what he has done to ease the nerves. Then asked me about myself and got right into the technical. Documents, systems of a jet, and how a high bypass engine worked. Electrical on a jet and how to convert A/C to D/C and vice versa. Then got into swept-back wings, match tuck, and how to get out of it.... -

I took my interview and it started out a lot like many of the interviews on here. First he did introductions and briefed how he was going to break down the interview into two parts technical and HR. HR we started with some basic housekeeping things wanted to know 30, 60, 90 days how many flight hours in a year, night, multi engine. We will do some basic things what is CRM? what is professionalism to you? Why Skywest? Then he went over some basic yes no questions that were in my application... -

I was interviewed by a captain with over 20 years of experience at SkyWest. The interview experience was fantastic—he was friendly, professional, and I learned a lot throughout the process. Preparation Tips: 1. Be ready to discuss your 30/60/90-day goals, all your flight hours, and ensure you can quickly recall specific details like night landings, MEL, PIC, total cross-country, and night time. 2. Review topics such hr questions( rate urself in the ifr world per your profiency... -

Interview started off with a tell me about yourself, interviewer was ex-millitary, and currently an FO on the CRJ. Followed that up with logbook totals for the past year, 120, 90, 60, and 30 days, any hour updates, ratings, etc. Followed with TMAATs: I got conflict at work, conflict in the cockpit, and time I was scared flying (I put a lot of emphasis on describing the setting, people involved, conditions, etc, and spent the majority of the time going over what I learned/gained). Next was...
