Was emailed by Meghan about a week after submitting my application. We set up a quick phone call where she asked the very basic questions about my experience level, what interested me about Kalitta and if I had any check ride failures. Nothing too out of the blue. She offered me an interview later that day (it was Wednesday and they do their interviews every Wednesday virtually) I set mine up for two weeks from then in order to get a few more...

Overall, the process went as outlined here. I was asked a variety of questions, including about my international flying experience, whether I’ve traveled internationally, and what motivated me to pursue cargo flying. There were also questions about my AQP (Advanced Qualification Program) experience and my thoughts on it, along with a discussion about my training history. No technical questions were asked. The introductions were brief, and the conversation quickly transitioned into,... -

I want to preface this by saying 2 years prior, I had turned down a CJO in the past from Kalitta, so my interview already was going to be more difficult... It is a Zoom interview, you join up and there is 3 people. They introduce themselves and then they asked me why I wanted to leave my current company. After that, I was asked if I had any other resumes sent to different companies. I was also asked why I didn't take the job with them 2 years ago. After this, they asked if I was okay flying... -

The gouge on this website was pretty much spot on. After applying, you get sent an interview calendar link with the online assessment. The online assessment consists of various "games" and puzzles to complete. They didn't ask me about it at all during the interview. The actual interview was around 10-15 mins over a Teams meeting. They just wanted to know why Kalitta, if I was ok with flying for 16 days on, (view the study guide of this website). Overall a very relaxed environment... -

Interview went just as others have described. Why Kalitta? Are you okay flying into potential warzones? Are you okay with the schedule? I have a few checkride failures from CFI and MEI so they asked about those and how my 121 training has gone. Overall a very nice and laid back... -

Pretty much what everyone else has said. It’s an incredibly straight forward interview process. Prior to the interview they’ll send you a link to a 9 part assessment. Don’t over think it. The only section I know I didn’t do great on was the math. It was asking you to find volumes of different shapes, triangle equations, converting different meter/hectare metric values etc. The rest of the assessment was actually kinda fun and it was never brought up in the interview.... -

Very short. No technical questions. Asked why I chose Kalitta. If I was willing to fly into active war zones and get the Yellow Fever vaccine. Talked about my flying experience on my resume and training record. Had some questions ready for them. Overall it was about 15 minutes and a very friendly... -

I’d say all the feed back that I read on here was pretty spot on. My zoom meeting was about 10 mins long. I had two ladies from HR and a Pilot. All very friendly, they opened with why Kalitta, how would I do on a 16/16 schedule, and how soon I’d be available. Then I was asked about the yellow fever vaccine, how I would feel about flying into war zones, followed by the typical hr questions. They asked me if I had any questions for them, and told me that I would find out within two... -

Interview was exactly as described in previous interview experiences. Follow the gouge. The assessment consists of multiple parts where you have to play a game, solve math problems, listen to ATC, and answer English questions. The interview itself was about 15 minutes. No technical questions. They asked about why Kalitta, if I am ok with flying into hazardous areas, and if I had any tough times in previous training. Overall great interview experience. I heard back with an offer via... -

It was a great low stress experience. I applied end of July beginning of August and was sent an email, first of September, asking to schedule an interview and to take 90 assessment. The assessment was some math, spelling, grammar, ATC audio, and a few puzzles. I did teams meeting for the interview which lasted about 15-20 minutes. Study this guide. They asked about the schedule and the point of me having no turbine PIC time. End the end, I’m grateful, I was offered the job. The... -

Received a 9-part online assessment to complete prior to the interview that consisted of various math problems, ATC audio exercises, personality tests etc... As far as the actual interview, it was a straight forward 15 minute MS teams meeting with 3 people from Kalitta. They all introduced themselves then asked a couple of HR type questions, (view the study guide of this website). Any questions Overall it was very quick and they were friendly during the interview. Received an email...
