For whatever this timeline discussion may be worth in the future, as it sounds like the application/interview timeline changes significantly over the course of different years/hiring windows and even within them--here is what my timeline looked like: the middle of Spring completed application approximately 5 weeks later email from Chief Pilot requesting a date/time for phone screening. No news or contact whatsoever between then. Four days later phone screening 3 days after Hogan assigned on application homepage (no email notification) completed Hogan, received interview invite for the beginning of this...

The interview gouge presented here mirrored my experience almost exactly. I prepared by using the Study Guide presented here, by speaking with contacts at the airline, and using a service. UPS was the only company where I simply completed the app on-line and is still the only company for which I've received an interview. If you've already interviewed recently or have someone with whom you could practice your answers to the questions presented here then I'd say the prep would be overkill. The... -

My phone screening was conducted by a retired UPS Captain. It was pretty straight toward—we reviewed and discussed my resume, work history, checkride failures, etc. Check Workday for Hogan. It’ll be assigned on there. I was assigned the Hogan test 3 days after the phone screen. I found out that evening that my Hogan was successful. Scheduled a Zoom interview 2 weeks later. My interview was exactly what’s posted here. The study questions on here are a great guide. No... -

Retired UPS Capt conducted phone screen after application submitted within a few days. If successful during the phone screen you will get the Hogan assigned. There is no email or anything that it has been assigned so continue to check workday for updates and see if it has been assigned as a task. If Hogan is passed you will get an email from HR setting up a interview for a future date. Interviews are conducted via zoom. I was given two sets of date ranges in the following weeks to... -

The other recent interview notes were spot on. Feedback from Tony(HR) and Bill(Pilot/technical) meant advice from friends at UPS was excellent. Highlight what makes you different than avg "insert your background here" pilot. Highlight how you will cope with first year pay and backside of the clock flying. (Eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired.) Prep (like you're doing by reading this), but don't hesitate to admit what you don't know. Interview was very casual, but... -

Interview went exactly how others have explained on here, super conversational & laid back. There wasn’t a question asked that isn’t on the study guide. Typical CRM & TEM questions and asked about an arrival nothing tricky. Brief the ILS 35L with unpublished hold, know holding speeds. Best of... -

Phone screening either retired UPS Captain 2 weeks after application was submitted. Hogan was released 2 days later (CHECK WORKDAY), you will not get an email saying it is available. Virtual Interview 2 weeks after Hogan complete. HR and management pilot on the Zoom Interview, asked a series of TMAAT and technical questions (see study guide on website.) Overall lasted 1 hour, and they told me it is currently taking about 30 days to email / phone call that you were successful or... -

The interview was very conversational, just like the gouge says. There was really more talking than just questions, but I was asked about CRM, TEM, Swiss cheese model, brief an approach at KBOS, holding entry, timing, and speed, Leadership, how my current job compares to my expectations, UPS history, and what I learned that I didn’t know... -

The interview was very relaxed with no surprises. Both HR and Pilot made me feel very comfortable and it felt more like a general conversation than an interview. All the questions are listed in the study guide. Talked about what does assertiveness mean to you, general CRM discussions, Threat and error management model, how does automation and time available play a role. Brief this arrival, approach and taxi in. How would you enter the hold and at what speed. Most technical part was NAT... -

Interview was very conversational and seemed to go very smoothly from my perspective. Interviewers were both retired UPS, one HR, on CA. TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website). Talk about CRM, then showed the UPS CRM model and had me brief one item. Brief and approach plate How would I enter holding at a point off the approach plate, at what airspeed, how long would the legs be? Asked what I learned about UPS in preparing for the interview Asked if I knew how UPS... -

All the Questions that were on this website were the questions I was asked on my Interview. Both the Retired pilot and HR person seemed very pleased with my responses to the questions. I just studied all the questions and put my own responses to the questions. Thanks for all the questions on here. It was very...
