The process is very standardized and mostly as described. In all previous reports. I submitted a resume with an internal recommendation in the beginning of Summer and was called to schedule the phone interview the next day. Phone interview is very low key, making sure you are ok with some of the apparent red flags in the I dusted, carrying bags and cleaning toilets and such. Why you are leaving your current job and what interests you about FlexJet. It just takes a few min and there are no technical or TMAT questions. After the phone interview I received an email to schedule the in person interview, for the next available slot. You will also receive an email to, verify your itinerary and what to bring with you. Take the time to have your documents professionally printed. The interview might start in the hotel lobby or at least the parking lot of the Center building. Literally was told by the Interviewer “I saw you walk in from the parking lot”. Look good, be friendly, be polite and charismatic. You will meet the other candidates at tables centrally located in a break area. There are other separated sitting areas...

Flown out to DFW the day before the interview. They recommended catching the shuttle an hour before the interview which would be 6:30- same time breakfast begins. If you have lounge access, food is put out about 15 minutes before. This is important because you may be waiting until noon to be interview complete. Upon arriving at the Center the group is greeted by two Flexjet employees who will also be conducting your interviews (panel or sim). Around 7:30 everyone gets a great benefits and... -

Study intel from previous posts. My day was identical. Give a solid departure brief and short/concise approach brief. Fly the challenger like you own it! Chair fly the profile. They are looking for future Captains, convey that in the Sim. HR portion is your time to shine! Show your passion for Flexjet and when you went above and beyond for customers. Knock it out of the... -

Interview was just as described. Be yourself during the interview they can tell if you're a fit or not. The sim was in a Challenger 600 sort of similar to what I fly (Crj7) but the instrumentation was slightly different I just went off feel they set everything up and want you to pass, just make timely corrections and announce them, be stable by 1000ft on the ILS and nail your V1 cut. Expect to hand... -

I had a very similar experience to previous interviewees. Everything was coordinated via email with specific instructions on what to bring and what to expect, a questionnaire to fill out and have available for the panel interview, itinerary and travel instructions. I arrived at DFW the day prior to the interview, took the shuttle to the hotel. A shuttle was coordinated to take the 10 of us to the Center the next morning at 6am. Arrived around 630am, badges were ready for us when we... -

The entire process was exactly as advertised. Panel of 2 and questions mainly about who you are and the type of person you represent. Tell me how you went above and beyond. What would your co workers say about you. Sim again exactly as advertised no surprises. Everything was very professional and relaxed. A Fantastic... -

The Interview process was exactly as described by previous gouges. I started with my panel interview and got asked a few scenario based questions. Some of those consisted of TMAAT when I had to make a quick decision, go above and beyond for a customer, had a difficult student or co pilot. The panel interview also included the basic questions regarding cleaning the aircraft and servicing the lav. I then went into my Sim evaluation. It was a challenger 604 and consisted of a normal departure,... -

In Person Interview: The in person events are held on Wednesday’s at the West facility in Dallas. A coordinator reached out about a week before my interview with a flight recommendation and I confirmed I was good with what they had selected. I received a follow on email with my flight and hotel confirmation information as well as the simulator profile info and a questionnaire to fill out. I flew out the afternoon before the interview and stayed at a hotel DFW Airport Hotel. I took... -

Arrived at the Center off the hotel shuttle with the rest of the candidates from the hotel. We did everything “backwards” due to sim availability later in the day. So right away some people went to the panel interview and some went to the simulator. Prior to the interview some they will send you a packet on what to expect in the simulator. (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website). Pannel interview was straight forward. No technical questions. Like... -

All aspects of the process and interview are pretty much as stated by others. I was put in the Challenger 601 for my sim portion and would recommend a couple of things for those getting ready to interview. Like others have said, keep power back climbing though 1500 feet or so and try not to overfly the sim. I found using elevator trim helped quite a bit as well. Listen and take any hints / pointers given by the pilot monitoring (Flexjet pilot). Panel interview was relaxed and the both the...
