  • Phone screen was why Atlas and a bunch of yes/no questions. Tech was straight off my packet with a really nice and knowledgeable former captain that had been with Atlas since 1993. Read metar on packet, explain an electrical system (I'm currently flying a banner tow plane with no electrical system so I explained the basics with TRUs IDGs GPUs AC/DC... (view the study guide of this website), hot spot was my only question on the airport diagram. Can you take off if the opspec mins are lower than the airport published mins (No), what are the altitude and speed limitations...

Technical Panel A retired 747 Captain that has been with Atlas for 20+ years conducted the interview. Study the reference material they send you and be familiar with every page. I was asked questions on pressurization (every day they choose a new system so be prepared for anything), V Speeds, Screen Height etc. Basically if you know every question on here you will do just fine. HR Panel Consisted out of 3 people from the Union, HR, and Retired 74 Captain. Then Questions, (view the study...

Great panel very professional and made me feel at ease.  I was asked questions you find on this portal. Be sure to demonstrate your maturity in TMAAT questions and be well versed on Jeppesen plates and technical knowledge on the type you currently fly. Just be yourself and good...

Interview was straight forward. Asked why Atlas each panel. First the technical interview that lasted about 40 minutes. He asked couple of questions from each of the charts sent the week prior of the interview. Weather, meter, chart symbols, and V1,V2, VR. I did not feel any pressure and most of the time the person interviewing me was very conversational. The HR interview was 40 minutes as well. TAAT questions, what aircraft, and mostly me telling them about myself and flying career. There...

Interview experience was good. Very organized. Step one - expect a phone call and you briefly go over your flight experience and history. Step two - you join a video call and Atlas agents will go over the company info and all benefits Step three - a two stage interview ( technical and HR portion ) I was prepared, there were maybe 2-3 questions I didn’t know due to no experience crossing the Atlantic flying. I believe that I was not hired as Atlas probably already had enough...

Interview went just as published on here. I received notification two weeks after the interview that I passed the interview but they are not hiring anymore due to the company getting away from the 737 and 767. They put me on a “preferred hiring list”. If you do have the chance to interview, study all the questions on here. Very laid back environment and non threatening. But at the same time they really want you to study the packet the give you a week prior to the...

The technical portion is quick- roughly 40 min of rapid fire. So as long as you do not make any mistakes you should be moving to the next topic. Apparently, the yellow dashed line on the route they send you is the "Great circle". HR is very friendly, go over the questions here and make sure you have preferences for planes, seems like they only have 747 and 777 as of couple days...

Technical portion of the interview followed along the packet pretty well. Every question that was asked was on the website so there were no surprise questions. It was very conversational with some technical questions sprinkled in. I was asked about how Bleed Air works and what it does for the operation of my aircraft. I was also asked about Screen Height after a V1 cut (dry and wet). 121 alternate fuel minimums as well as takeoff minimums. The interview ended with a Vmca question which was...

Study the questions on here. And study every page of the documents they send you. Be personable and don't try to hide anything. I didn't know a couple of things during the technical interview. The retired captain taught me the things I didn't know and we moved on. HR interview pretty standard and very relaxed, One new question added to the study guide. (view the study guide of this...

The interview was very straight forward and closely matched the study guides found on this website. Atlas will send you a packet of information to study, they expect you to study all the areas on that packet and will ask questions from those areas. Technical portion was with a very nice retired 747 captain. I was asked about the pitot static system of my current airplane and was asked what the area around the static ports is referred to as in addition to many of the questions outlined in...
