FREE Allegiant Air pilot interview information and gouge
The day started off with an early morning Teams briefing covering the company and it's future. Most of your questions will be covered by the briefing and if not they will answer them at the end of the briefing. My interview was scheduled over Teams for about 3 hours later. I had a Captain and a First Officer that conducted my interview. It was a very relaxed environment. The first 10-15 minutes... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

Mar 16, 2025 Video recorded interview for Allegiant collegiate pilot pathway. I had one week to answer 6 questions. They gave 1 minute of prep time and 2 minutes to answer the question. They had simple questions such as why do you want to join allegiant and where do you see yourself in the future. They also asked about stage check and checkride failures and if there was anything on my record. Overall the experience was... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 05, 2025 Review the study guide posted here. It helped out a lot when it came to the interview. The interview consisted of two current pilots with Allegiant. They definitely make you feel at ease. Normal HR questions. Then it went to review of flight hours. Have your hours ready when they ask for them. Next was the rundown of the resume. After that, they then gave me scenario based questions. Went over some speeds in different airspaces. Again, read the study guide here and you'll... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 04, 2025 The interview was very straightforward with no tricky questions. They asked about the school I attended, confirmed my flight hours, inquired about my résumé, and asked about any check ride failures. Make sure to know their bases and CEO, as they also ask base scenario questions. Overall, it was a straightforward process. Good luck,... Continue reading this interview experience

Feb 10, 2025 When I first applied, I received an email with an invite to submit a video interview. It was 3 separate questions that you submit a video response per question. You get 2 chances to submit a response, otherwise you skip the question. After I submitted my video interview, about four days later I got an email to be invited to a group interview. In the group interview you go through a presentation with a candidate assignment. Once that is complete, they assign you to a group of about 7-8... Continue reading this interview experience

Jan 03, 2025 I already work at Allegiant as a mechanic so the interview was pretty casual as others have stated. Nothing technical, just the typical HR questions. What would you do if a flight attendant attempted to repair a bin latch and they wrote it in the logbook? Line out the page and rewrite it or have mx write it up. What would you do if you think you hit birds but after doing the post flight walkaround the Capt didn't see anything so he said no reason to write it up? I'd say let's just write it... Jan 03, 2025 Interview started in a group session. Talked to us about the company and plans for future growth of the company. After the group session, we had one on one interviews. The interview process was very conversational while adding in technical and scenario based questions. Asking me a lot about myself while also analyzing my critical thinking skills. I was interviewed by a captain and first officer, both were very nice and made me feel very comfortable during the process. Stick to the study... Continue reading this interview experience

Dec 10, 2024 Started with standard HR questions, (view the study guide of this website). Reviewed total flight time and walked through my resume/flying experience. There weren't questions like: "Tell me about your previous flying experience," it was more a conversation that they guided me through my own resume. Wasn't at all what I was expecting. They asked about check ride failures and were adamant about talking through how Allegiant is not a commutable airline if you are junior. It will... Continue reading this interview experience

Dec 10, 2024 Application:in the Fall Meet & Greet: about a month later. Video One-Way Interview: last month Virtual Interview: this week and CJO: Attended a Meet & Greet at the Sanford, FL facility in the Fall. It was a 2 hr block with the first hour being a presentation on the company, followed by a tour of the facility, and then some questions. The one-way video was interesting where it’s you speaking into the computer and answering about a dozen questions one at a time. Some... Continue reading this interview experience

Dec 05, 2024 I attended a Meet and Greet in Orlando Sanford in the Fall, completed a form that required a break down of my flight experience, then we watched an one hour presentation on the company, got a tour of the facility then came back to the meeting room then got the opportunity to meet some of the pilots and recruiters to ask any questions that you may have. About 3-4 weeks afterwards I was contacted by a member from the recruitment team requesting me to do a one way video interview which was... Continue reading this interview experience

Dec 05, 2024 I attended a meet and greet at Allegiants East Coast Training Center in Sanford, FL in the Fall. It was a great experience and one I highly recommend since Allegiant is a very tight knit community. About a month after the meet and greet, I was invited to complete a one way video interview and a personality/cognitive aptitude test. During the video interview, you are asked several questions, (view the study guide of this website, including the sim/scenario section). Why Allegiant. You...
