After the oral we hopped in the SIM. Redbird simulator set up with G1000 with autopilot. There's no flight director on this SIM. He wanted a 172 but with the G1000 panel it will only run as a 182. But he still used the throttle quadrant of a 172 (no prop control). So there is a reading on the display indicating manifold pressure but you don't need to adjust it. He assured me no checklists, system failures, etc. He just wants to see you fly and talk on the radios. My...
