Study Guide Questions for Your United Airlines Aviate Interview:
- 1. (Nov 10, 2024) What risks did you have to mitigate while planning your flight plan?
- The biggest risk is weather. I want to make sure I am clear of any heavy precip or cloud build-up. I always make sure to check PIREPs or any other wx reports along or near my route. Another risk to mitigate is airspace. Just because we are on a flight plan and are being guided by ATC does not mean we shouldn't maintain awareness of what airspace were in or how much traffic we have around us. Spatial orientation is everything.
