2. My experience was very similar to all of the others. When I showed up I met a propel representative. And he verified I had all of my documents. And he took them to the people who would do the interview. And we chatted for about 20 minutes. Then he took me to meet the interviewers. They introduced themselves. Then I introduced myself. Study Guide Questions for Your Delta Air Lines Propel Interview:
- 1. (Sep 07, 2024) What would you do in the event of flap failure?
- I would plan for a faster landing speed, due to that I would start looking at airports with longer runways. I would also want to land a field with maintenance so I could get the flaps fixed. I would also ideally land at an airport with FBO services.
- 2. What kind of captain would you be and why?
- I would be the captain that is driven and known as a leader.
- Approachability, you want your team members to be able to approach you, and be collaborative and open to ideas. Also to empower their crew, however to not be a micro manager by developing trust with your crew. Additionally to be self aware.

- I picked Purdue for the focus on the Jet simulators and the networking opportunities

- 6. How do you prepare for check rides/stage checks?
- I study my notes, utilize cockpit posters to train procedures, and study in a group setting with my peers.
- 7. You are flying solo in the practice area and on recovery from a power-off stall, your engine fails. You are able to get it restarted and all the indications are in the green afterward. There is an airport 10NM away that is non-towered and the airport you came from which is towered and 20NM - where do you go?
- I would go to the 10NM airport as it is closest and ultimately an engine failure is an engine failure. As safety is always the top priority, I would get it on the ground ASAP and consult my school's maintenance and Chief Flight Instructors to ask for their advice on how to safely return.

- The propel program offers a streamline process from 0 (zero hours) to hero (ATP) rated. They also do so in a way that learning how to be a good pilot.

- In my opinion I believe Delta is the best American airline in the industry and they share a lot of my personal values in the company.
