Hotel Comments:
Nice hotel, fairly clean and quiet.
Places To Eat:
Tons of places to eat right outside of the door.
Things To Do:
This is where the hotel really suffers. The old GSP hotel had a movie theater and mall right up the road along with all manner of restaurants if a person just walked for about 5 minutes. Now, you can eat all day, but that is it because there is absolutely nothing within walking distance in any direction from this place. I think GSP is a victim of people not getting out and looking around so now we have more food choices but nothing else.

Hotel Comments:
One of the better hotels we stay at, def. better than the Crown Plaza we used to stay at. It's about a 10 minute van ride from the airport and the van runs every 20 minutes. Hotel is clean and comfortable, looks like it's been renovated recently. Rooms have a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a large LCD flat-panel TV with plenty of channels to watch. Hotel offers free wireless and wired internet, business center, gym, hot tub (no pool), and a large variety of free breakfast (hot and cold) that's served from 6-10am.
Places To Eat:
There are tons of places to eat literally outside the front door of the hotel and others within less than 3 minute walk. You got Chophouse 47 (seriously expensive steakhouse), California Dreaming, Logan's Roadhouse, Joe's Crab Shack, On The Border Mexican, Macaroni Grill, Chick Fillet, Hardee's, Sholatzky's Deli, McDonald's, Moe's Southwest Grill, Jack In The Box, El Ranchero Mexican, and Starbucks, etc.
Things To Do:
Eat, sleep, and watch t.v., Otherwise, didn't see too many attractions or things to do.

Hotel Comments:
One of the better Wingates I've been too. Free wireless in the rooms and free breakfast, very comfy bed. Looks like its been recently remodeled. New furniture in the rooms, flat screen television, large breakfast area. They said breakfast was from 6-10am but we had the 520am van and everything was available (waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, coffee, juice, etc). There are lot of restaurants within walking distance but if you like Chiefs Firewater like I do for wings and a lively bar, you're going to be disappointed. Not much else that I saw entertainment wise but the van might take you some place.
Places To Eat:
Logan's Roadhouse, Macaroni Grill, several fast food joints, California Dream (looked like a generic Applebee's-type menu), Chophouse47 if you're into spending some dough.
Things To Do:
Didn't really see much around except restaurants. Might have been a mall nearby but I didn't check it out. Gym was small and I think all they had was a hot tub, no pool.
