Interview experience:
I've actually been on the line now for just over a month. The job is awesome and the people with this company are even better. There is no interview as they need pilots immediately! Talk to Gary(recruiter) and he will get you squared away. Make sure and download Austin's website material and know it before you show up. Be instrument current as pilots will be washed out if your abilities are ever in question (Seriously)!!!!! You will be flying a Cessna 210 down to mins. with only the most basic of equipment(no GPS, DME, etc). Review the Instrument Gleim too, there is a test the first day. (No questions with diagrams, read a taf and metar. The only complaint I have is that for some reason pilots have accepted a 20,000 to 30,000 a year paycheck as a good thing. For what we do day in a and day out the pay is not good. $10 per hour is pitiful. So make sure you love to fly. Don't get me wrong, I love this job and plan on staying on for a while but a living wage would be nice. Baron upgrade is more like 10-12 months, but this company really is awesome and so are the people who work here. Definetely the best time I've had flying yet! Ask anyone who works here!
