FREE Empire Pilot Interview Information and Gouge

Interview experience:
I was called on a Tuesday to set up a phone interview on a Saturday. Belinda Jones (HR Director) called with Steve Martini (CP) also on the line. She started out with an odd question about where they might have dinner that night in Coeur D'Alene. This was designed to see how I think on my feet. Belinda continued to ask questions about me and my experience, kind of "get to know you" questions. Steve Martini then came on the line and asked more about my flying experience, but no specific technical questions. I also asked him about schedules and upgrades with the company. Then Belinda came back on and went through a prepared speech about benefits and the company in general, also saying that they are very proud to be non-union. They are interviewing for Salt Lake, Rapid City, Casper, and Wichita(F27) FO positions for a late April class. I ended up declining their offer to come to Coeur D'Alene for a sim check and the rest of the interview because I just decided that the company would not be a good fit for me. The schedule was not that great and you don't actually fly that much. Lots of reserve. If you are willing to actually move to the city you are based in and not commute, you may be happy with this job.
