FREE Emirates Pilot Interview Information and Gouge

Interview experience:
Everyone on the Interview team was very nice and professional, they want you to make a well informed decision as to whether or not you would be able to live in Dubai.

Previously competed the sim in ATL

Day one in Dubai consisted of a logbook, documents, and compass testing.  Documents needed included certificates, medical, passport,  FAA letter stating that you hold certain certificates and type ratings, training record showing most current PC, and flight time verification from your current company.  Flight time and training records are a MUST they will not like it if you show up without these.
Compass testing includes five tests.  First is using a joy stick, rudder pedals, and the up/down arrows to control speed and the attitude of the airplane with a cross-hair type flight director.  Second test includes ATP type questions 30 questions no time limit.  Third test is a math test with a 20 minute time limit,  includes questions like long division, algebra, volume, time/speed/distance, multiplication.  Fourth test is a task oriented test,  in which you cancel alarms while programming an autopilot.  Fifth test is a memory test,  you are shown heading, speed, radio freqs, and altitudes for a few seconds and then have to type them back down.

Day two consisted of taking one of the three psychological test, the tour of Dubai, and Group Exercises.  The first psych test taken consisted of 370 true/false questions.  Either the question is true about you or it is false about you.
The group exercise consisted of being in groups of 4 and  having three different situations requiring the group to work together to come to a group decision.  All the exercises are timed.
For the tour of Dubai everyone got on a bus and was taken out to lunch, and shown the emirates medical clinic and housing accommodations.  We were taken to the villa and the 3 bedroom apartment.  Its depends on the make up of the group as to which houses are shown most in my group were married with and without kids.  So we did not see the single housing accommodations.

Day three consisted of two most psychological tests,  Panel interview, sit down with psychologist, and medical exam.  The second  psych test consisted of  174 questions with three choices of true, sometimes, false answers.  The last psych test test consisted of two sentences within the context of being at work, of which you choose one. The panel interview is mainly finding out about you they ask very limited tech question.  It last for 35-40 minutes.
The sit down with the psychologist consisted of discussing the results of you test.   If you disagree with the psychologist make sure you provide evidence why you disagree.  Just be honest with all the test and the psychologist and everything should be fine.
Last was the medical exam, it lasts about 2 hours.  Emirates provides a car to the clinic for the exam.  The exam consists of urine, blood, ekg, eye, hearing test, chest x-ray.

Also there is no more technical written exam given.
