FREE Capital Cargo Intl Airlines Pilot Interview Information and Gouge

Interview experience:
Received a call from Chief pilot less than one week after submitting resume. I'm living in the Orlando area so I just drove down to headquarters for the interview. The chief pilot is a great guy. Former Navy and Navy Reserve so he was supportive of my being in the Air Force Reserve. Got into the interview 30mins or so late because the guy before me got lost. The interview is a panel format. Five folks total: Director of Ops, HR, Dir of training, Chief pilot, and another pilot. Pretty laid back. No technical questions...just based off your resume. What do you know about the company? Do you think you can learn the 727 quickly? Any other questions? Ground training is done at HQ and the sim is at Sanford. Schedule is 16 days...usually front or back half of the month. 727s are GPS & RVSM and 757s are on the horizon. Pay may improve with ALPA around. Great folks and good potential. I declined the offer because the 2yr/$15,000 contract would not have allowed me to explore another interview I have in November. I also have small children and the 2 weeks straight on the road wasn't for me. (Plus possibility of 4 weeks straight...back half then front half). Good luck! This is a good company and the schedule is great for those who have the right fit.
